The Approach

Set inside a raw, industrial space — a grounded contrast to the clarity of the performance — we placed Sonique and her guitarist at the centre of the frame.

Close, controlled cinematography captured every nuance:
the breath between lines, the texture of the vocal, the connection between artist and instrument.

Lighting remained soft and intentional.
Movement stayed minimal.
Everything served the performance.

The Challenge

This was a high-pressure shoot.

We had 1 hour 20 minutes to:

• build the set inside a cargo aircraft

• capture two full acoustic performances

• strike the entire production

All while maintaining studio-grade audio and cinematic quality.

The final edits were delivered within 24 hours.
